In a round short of shocks there were nonetheless a couple of surprise replays. Bahrain achieved a creditable draw in Ghana while Canada briefly led against Germany before being pegged back. The random unseeded draw produced a huge matchup between Spain and Portugal which also went to a replay. Goalscoring plaudits went to Neymar who hit five in Brazil's 8-1 drubbing of Trinidad & Tobago. Uruguay and Netherlands both hit 6 while Bosnia & Herzegovina narrowly won an eight goal thriller against Senegal.
